Dr. Vartanian is wonderful! I fully trust her guidance and care for both of my children. She takes time to explain things and ensures all questions are answered.

We absolutely love Dr Matthew’s. I have 6 children and my oldest is 33. My baby is 9 and I’ve seen many Peds throughout the years. She has such a personal touch that my child loves coming to her office, and she remembers everything about him.
Our experience was very good. My daughter was a new patient and I was nervous, but the staff and provider were amazing. They answered all our questions and had very loving nature about them.
Dr. Wallace is a wonderful, caring, thorough, and kind pediatrician. My son used to get nervous about going to the doctor, but that all changed a few years ago when we switched to Dr. Wallace at Lexington Pediatrics-West Columbia. The practice is full of excellent staff including the receptionists, nurses, and doctors. If Dr. Wallace is booked for the day and my son needs to be seen, the practice always has time for someone to see him. Last, but certainly not least, Dr. Wallace and her staff answer and discuss any and all questions and concerns that the parents have which is extremely comforting! They truly care about the family and spend as much time as needed. There is never a rush, and the only time we have waited more than ten minutes is when we were told in advance that we were being worked in and that we may have to wait.
They are in a category all of their own!
Stormy and her assistant were phenomenal. They were attentive and patient. I felt valued as a patient and with things in life that is real important for me. I definitely will seek more visits with them in the future.
Dr. Dennison and her nurse are super sweet and let me voice all my questions and concerns. They are very caring and considerate. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
I can’t say enough about Dr Matthew’s. She always knows my kids by name and remembers all their conversations. Her approach is hands down and the care she provides is one I’ve never seen from other Peds. I have 3 grown children in there 30’s and I’ve started all over. Trust me when I say she is fabulous.
Dr Bates has always given my children the best care! She is attentive when children or I speak. She always shows genuine care and concern. Since my 1st child was born with a birth injury, I have totally trusted she has provided the best care possible.
Elizabeth Dennison is wonderful. She took her time to answer all of my questions and concerns, she even addressed issues that I wasn't aware of. We do not want our grandchild to see any other physician.
We love Dr. Wallace! She?s very aware and informed about [...] medical issues, and I always feel comfortable to ask questions. We?ve changed [...] since he had surgery, which was a difficult transition and having a great pediatrician who?s care has been consistent since he was a newborn his a huge comfort and gives me peace of mind he?s in great hands. Dr. Matthews has seen both of my daughter's. She is caring and knowledgeable. As my daughter's have grown their health concerns have changed as they have become young women. Dr Matthews has always had knowledgeable advice and includes my girls in their treatment plan. Its important as a mom to make sure that your children trust their pediatrician and they definitely do.
We just moved and I did some research on this place before coming here so when I arrived, I was pleased with the overall experience. Every interaction with every person and how they took their time.
She has been the only doctor our kids had ever saw and we appreciate her extra time and care she always provides when we have concerns. She is amazing and we are thankful for her and her nursing team!!! We love her.
As always, Dr. Matthews is wonderful. I am always disappointed with the amount of time she is able to spend, but am overly impressed with how she establishes rapport so quickly and takes care of the issue. I hate the system, love the doctor.

The care is amazing, but our appointment time is never honored. The shortest amount of time we have waited is 45 minutes past our appointment. This is extremely difficult with an impatient toddler.
Dr. Vartanian, her nurse, and the rest of the staff always go above and beyond to care well for not only my child, but this worried mom as well. I happen to be a nurse so I am very aware just how rare this happens with how short staffed most medical practices are these days. Their level of care is so appreciated and valued.

As soon as seven days before an appointment, you can complete eCheck-in through MyChart. You can update information and electronically sign documents before your appointment to make the check-in process faster.
Arrive 15 minutes before your appointment.
Come early to update any necessary information. If you arrive more than 10 minutes after your appointment time, we may ask you to reschedule.
Let us know as soon as possible if you have to cancel.
Please do your best to cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment. If you cancel three times without advance notice, we may dismiss you from our practice.
Payment will be due at the time of your appointment.
Payment is due the day of service, including copayments, coinsurance and any other charges. If your care isn't covered by insurance, you are entitled to a 50% discount.

Prescription Refills
Call and leave a message with your name, date of birth, prescription and strength, along with your doctor’s name and your pharmacy’s name and number. Allow one to two business days for us to process the refill. We won't contact you about the request unless there is a problem.
We cannot refill some prescriptions.
You may be required to see your provider before we can refill your medication. We also do not accept refill requests from local or mail-order pharmacies—you must request these refills.
Lab/Test Results
You can receive timely notifications and view lab results from tests you’ve had done through MyChart. Test results should be available within 7 to 10 business days.
Allow up to 7 days for your referral to go through. Once it does, our office or the specialist's office will call you with your appointment information. If you make your own appointment, please let us know as soon as possible so we can obtain any prior authorizations that may be required.
Forms
Due to the volume of forms we process, please allow up to 10 business days for us to complete them. There may also be a charge for completing your form, or your provider may require that you come in for an office visit for assistance in completing your form.
Immunization Records
Please allow up to two business days on all immunization record requests. If you must call our office for an immunization record, you may be asked to leave a message with the patient’s name, birth date, and contact phone number.
School/Work Excuses
School/work excuses will be issued at the provider’s discretion only when the patient has had an appointment.
Questions for Your Care Team
You can exchange messages with your providers and read doctor’s notes from recent visits in MyChart. Keep messages short and to the point. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
After hours there will be an on-call provider who will be available for urgent needs that cannot wait until the next business day. If an emergency occurs after hours, please have paper, pencil and pharmacy phone number available. Prescription refills will not be handled by the on-call provider nor will pain medications, controlled substances or antibiotics be prescribed to your pharmacy.
