Dr. Thottathil provides comprehensive inpatient care at Lexington Medical Center. 

Expertise

During Dr. Thottathil’s residency, she gained extensive experience in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases affecting adults. She also completed rotations in various specialties, such as cardiology, endocrinology, infectious disease and pulmonary-critical care. Prior to her residency, she served as an advanced quality engineer at Stryker Corporation in Kalamazoo, Michigan, in the development, manufacturing and marketing of medical products and services, primarily in orthopaedics, medical and surgical equipment.

Background

Dr. Thottathil graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California, and earned her medical degree from Western Michigan University Homer Stryker School of Medicine in Kalamazoo. She then completed her internal medicine residency at University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.
