Dr. Dawley graduated with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from The University of Texas at Tyler and earned his medical degree from The University of North Texas Health Science Center, Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth.

He then completed a neurosurgical oncology fellowship at NorthShore University Hospital in Lake Success, New York, while completing his neurological surgery residency at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine/Ascension Providence Hospitals in Southfield. During this time, he co-authored and co-presented more than 35 research studies and publications.
