I am very pleased with Dr. Lencke, he tells you what he thinks is going on and how we are going to attempt to treat it. I find him to be very personable. . I was diagnosed with MS 37 years ago with multiple other physical and mental health issues.
Dr. Lencke is the first neurologist to give me answers and the first neurologist to say "this is the way it is." I needed answers and a direction.
Dr. Lencke gave me that. Sometimes it's hard to hear things. if you are ready to hear, then Dr Lencke may just be right for you.
He was for me.
Dr.Lencke always seems concerned about my problems. And discusses my concerns with me.

Long wait time both in the lobby and patient room. Staff was nice. Dr seemed as he was in a hurry. He did not seem prepared when he entered room. Asked questions that I had put on the pages of info required for me to fill out.

Dr. Lencke provides comprehensive care in the evaluation, monitoring, prevention and treatment of cognitive and general neurologic disorders.
Expertise
Dr. Lencke is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the American Medical Association, the Columbia Medical Society, the South Carolina Medical Association, and the South Carolina Neurological Association. He previously served as president of the South Carolina Neurological Association. In addition to his professional affiliations, Dr. Lencke has more than 25 years of experience in adult neurology, including chronic neurologic disorders and diagnostic studies. He most recently treated patients at The South Carolina Neurological Clinic in Columbia.

A graduate of the University of South Carolina in Columbia, Mark K. Lencke, MD, earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He also completed his internal medicine internship and adult neurology residency at the Medical College of Georgia.
